A very common requirement for all administrators is to add or change drives in a system. In this video Windows Server 2003 has assigned the CD-ROM drive to be the D:\ drive yet the two hard drives are C:\ and E:\. Grant walks you through reassigning the drive letters to adhere to the more common standard of C:\ and D:\ drive for the hard drive and assigning the E:\ drive to be the CD-ROM. Grant also shows you how to extend an existing drive by adding another hard drive's space using Windows Server 2003's Mount in the following empty folder. By using this feature you'll only have one C:\ drive (instead of both a C:\ and D:\ drive) yet you'll have your C:\ drive made using two disks. This feature allows you to add more disk space to a system without changing around drive letters or configuring RAID.
